Our jewelry should last you many years if lovingly cared for! Jewelry should never be worn in water like in the shower or pool. We also recommend removing our jewelry before going to bed.

Nearly all metals used in jewelry today will tarnish over time. To slow this process down, you can store your jewelry in zip lock baggies or other air tight containers.

To clean our jewelry, we recommend using a soft cleaning/polishing cloth with cleaner built in, as can be found in most jewelry stores. Be sure the brand you choose is safe for most metals, stones, and pearls. We like Sunshine Cloths and Connoisseurs Ultra Soft Silver Jewelry Polishing Cloths. Never soak our jewelry in liquid jewelry cleaner!

Description

This mixed media necklace was a joy to create!.  The centerpiece was made from a vintage brass stamping, set with vintage watch parts & sequins, and new crystals, glass, and sterling beads.  Then I hand stamped and antiqued the words "time flies" on sterling silver.  Finally I assembled it all with very long vintage glass bugle beads, fabric and suede.  This piece is so special, I initialed the back with the year.  Colors include cream, silver, bronze, with flashes of purple, and volcano tones.. The pendant is on a solid brass chain and can be adjusted to any length up to 20 inches.

Keep in mind that each piece is handcrafted here in Pennsylvania, so slight variations may occur. That is what makes your piece unique! But we take pride in our attention to detail, and make every effort to present you the most accurate picture and description as possible.
