Description: Clamsells have long been used for finishing off a variety of necklaces. Our Clamshells are much more durable than the traditional ones because they have twe closed rings which you attach your clasp to. Espically great with silk, you simply pass you cord through the bottom, into the open clamshell, tie a knot down in the "mouth", dab it with glue, and cut the thread. Then you gently close the mouth of your clam, and pass a split ring or jump ring through the two small closed loops at the end to keep it shut. Attach you clasp to that ring and you're done!
