• • • • • Christine Altmiller • • • • •

Christine Altmiller of Moscow, PA began beading simple single strand necklaces 17 years ago to pass the time on a road trip to Alaska.  Wanting to do more in the jewelry industry, she went to the Gemological Institute of America and earned a Graduate Gemologist degree.  She eventually concluded that beads were more her speed.  After staying home to raise her two girls, she found Beadweaver's and the courage to take a few classes.  Now, she weaves happily every chance she gets.

• • • • • Nicole Ciali • • • • •

Nicole Ciali of Exeter, PA began making jewelry when she was in high school. Due to college and a busy schedule she had to put her hobby on hold. It wasn’t until she went to a jewelry home show two years ago that she began to bead again. She then found Beadweaver’s in the fall of 2007 and her life as she knows it hasn’t been the same! When Nicole isn’t beading, she is busy at work as a juvenile probation officer and spending time with her children (pygmy goats).

Gladys Gerchow of Montoursville, PA is a self taught beadweaver, with over 10 years of beading experience. Originally inspired by Carol Wilcox Welles, she says that Beadweaver's has added fuel to her fire! She has been the catalyst of a small and growing beading community through the adult education classes she teaches at McCall Middle School. All of the profits from her beading addiction go to her favorite charity, the Providence House at the Susquehanna Health Services, which provides temporary housing and education for pregnant women who need it.
